![]() I’m sure some comics are included with KU (as mentioned), but you will really get it all with that Comixology subscription. I believe Amazon owns Comixology, so it’s going to have pretty much everything you’re looking for. I can’t speak for the Comic subscription. I’ve found some things on KU that I put in my library, but for me, it doesn’t have a lot of what I like to read (but I’m a very picky reader, so take that with a grain of salt lol). ![]() Try it during the promotional periods and see if it’s worth the $9.99 (or do what I do play the promotional rate only game). It doesn’t have everything obviously, but there is quite a bit to choose from. It has the books you’d get with Prime Reading and much, much more. Prime Reading is a nice added feature of Prime, but if you’re really looking to read, do KU. What I do is ride out the promotion, cancel before I get charged $9.99, and then do it again for the next promotion (after at least a month of being unsubscribed). I believe they are running one now for 3 months for $1.99 per month. So yea, I read a lot of books and comics and dont really need everything else from Prime itself, would it be better to just do Kindle Unlimited? Assuming that it also comes with Comixology? But if it doesnt, then I would have to pay a separate service for Comixology right?ĭoes Amazon have Black Friday deals for Kindle Unlimited and/or Comixology?Īmazon always has KU deals. Kindle Unlimited however seems like its everything for normal E books and Comixology.but I honestly cant tell if Comixology is included in that because Comixology also has a separate subscription (which I assume is more for avid comic book readers only as compared to general readers) but when I click on certain comic books/graphic novels it says included in Kindle Unlimited which makes me think that both are combined in Kindle Unlimited. From what I read online, it seems like the choices on books and comics are slim as compared to Kindle Unlimited.but with Prime Reading, I also get all of the other stuff with Prime.which can be nice but is unnecessary for me. So it seems to me that Prime Reading is a bit constrained. The problem is, I am a little confused about the different options and such and which one would be best for me. I have a Kindle Fire HD 8th Generation and can finally afford to do a subscription for Amazon.
